Shaun Goater

After spending seven blistering years playing for Rotherham between 1989 and1996, Goater moved on to play for Bristol City in 1996. After two seasons as the club, he joined Manchester City as they were struggling in the first division. As City were relegated, his 21 goals scored the following year, during the 1998-99 season, helped City to promotion into the first division. The 1999-2000 campaign witnessed Goater scoring 29 goals for the club, making him the most prolific goal scorer in the first division. Goater went onto play for City until the end of the 2002-03 season. He went on to play for Reading for two seasons and finished his playing career with Southend.

Georgiou Kinkladze

Kinkladze made a real impression in 1995 during his debut season at Manchester City. He was without doubt one of the most gifted and talented players ever to star for his club and some of his play and goals were simply breath taking. He was a favourite with the City supporters and went on to play 120 matches, scoring 22 goals for the club. His outstanding displays earned him a move to Dutch club, Ajax Amsterdam for £5 million. He soon moved back to England, this time playing for Derby County, making 65 appearances for the Rams. After his spell at Derby he played in the Cypriot domestic league. He has also won over 50 caps for his nation, Georgia.
